The Velvet Touch plot
"Rosalind has her eye on three men... three men have their eye on Rosalind... one of them is up to no good!"
When Broadway star Valerie Stanton accidentally kills her former lover and producer, Gordon Dunning, she suddenly remembers, in a flashback, that her new love interest, Michael Morrell, got into a fatal argument with Dunning. The next day, her rival Marian Webster is arrested as the prime suspect. In the beginning she is very happy with this but then she starts to doubt whether the police are not playing a cat and mouse game with her.
