The Thanksgiving Treasure plot

When Addie cycles on the edge of the village to gather some branches and flowers for an autumn bouquet, she sees a beautiful Pinto. She names the horse Marblecake, but soon finds out that owner Walter Rehnquist calls the horse Treasure. Rehnquist, however, is not very popular with Addie's father James, partly because he still owes him some money. But as Thanksgiving approaches, Addie sees an ideal opportunity to make things right between Rehnquist and her father. She invites the owner of the beautiful horse to Thanksgiving dinner without her father's knowledge.
