The Strange Death of Adolf Hitler plot
"Is he dead?"
Vienna, 1942. The office clerk Franz Huber is a born impersonator. However, Franz does not think much of Adolf Hitler and he is arrested by the Gestapo. At the last moment, the Gestapo finds that Franz can still be useful for The Third Reich. They decide to transform him into the image of Hitler through plastic surgery. Should Franz refuse, his family will be arrested. Meanwhile, Franz's wife Anna Hubert is told that her husband has been killed by the Gestapo for treason. Franz's two sons, Viki and Hans, are drafted into the 'Hitlerjugend' in the expectation that they will soon forget their father. Anna, who wants to flee Austria, is betrayed by her sons. Since her life is now ruined, Anna decides to kill Hitler.
