The Space Between plot
Montine is an alcoholic flight attendant who is about to be fired. She finds herself in the air during the attacks on September 11, 2001. When her plane is grounded, she must take care of a minor, 10-year-old Muslim boy Omar. When she finds out that Omar's father works in the World Trade Center, she decides to quit his job and drive the boy to New York to find his father.
