The Slavery Business: How to Make a Million from Slavery plot

The year is 1743 and the slave trader Henry Lascelles is one of the richest men of the eighteenth century. At its peak, things seem to go awry when Henry becomes the center of a tax fraud investigation launched by British Inspector Robert Dinwiddie. In an attempt to evade the investigation, Henry becomes suspicious and Robert Dinwiddie opens the chase. In the ensuing battle, both sides spare no one and nothing and the ambitious and narrow-minded thoughts of both men are severely tested. Meanwhile, life on the plantations of Barbados continues undisturbed, until the battle is shifted to the heart of London. There in the capital of the British Empire, it will have to come to a showdown.
