Wheelchair-bound Leah St. Aubyn is a cynical, manipulative and dictatorial woman who controls her entire social environment. In an ice cold way, Leah destroys her daughter Christine's relationship with her boyfriend, whom she loves very much. The fiancée of Leah's son Logan nearly committed suicide because of her behavior. When Leah notices that her husband Mallory is with her children because of her behavior, the doctor Dr. Simon Crowdy, she becomes even more calculating.
