The Sea of Grass plot

"Big as its stars!"

Brewton has a vast amount of livestock and land and marries Lutie, giving birth to daughter Sara. One day Lutie leaves for Denver where she has a child with lawyer Chamberlain. After this, the two people grow apart, but when Chamberlain is killed, Sara arranges a final meeting between Brewton and Lutie.
