A packed house holds its breath as sophomore sensation Delroy Links drops dead during the biggest game of his career. At the same time, Delroy's death ends the career of the well-known basketball coach and legend Phil Nevers. Rumors have it that Nevers chose to hide reports of Delroy's condition in an effort to secure the championship. Two years later, and after a five-year absence from competitive sports, the MT. Christopher University re-entered the sports program. And like most universities looking to jumpstart a new sports program, they need to seek out an influential personality.
