The River Woman plot

"A DRAMATIC STORY OF THE MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI UNDERWORLD!"

Tough Bill Lefty owns a saloon on the banks of a swollen Mississippi. Bill proposes to The Duchess, the beautiful hostess of his saloon. However, The Duchess can't take her mind off the stoker Jim Henderson and she rejects Bill. Jim goes to Bill's saloon and entertains those there with his piano playing. When a fight breaks out, Jim and Bill fight to get rid of Mulatto Mike's gang. When the swollen Mississippi still overflows, Bill finds out that The Duchess is in love with Jim.
