The Quiet Roar plot
It's not exactly the most reassuring environment for medical treatment. In a spaciously furnished bus in a parking lot, the terminally ill, depressed Marianne does not look for a conventional cure. She seeks relief, and she gets it - in the form of LSD therapy. She is being treated with psilocybin (LSD) and meditation by her supervisor Eva. Marianne looks back on her 25-year-old self, still together with the man she left and the child she no longer speaks to. Diving back in time, to a holiday in a beautiful Norwegian wasteland, idyllic and desolate at the same time, Marianne speaks with her younger self and husband and watches the end of their relationship.
