The Pursuit of Happiness plot

"A film about the ties that bind couples & countries"

The America's Cup, a sailing competition, is held in Western Australia in 1987. At the same time, there are protests against a visit by nuclear-powered American warships. Against that background, Anna starts working as a journalist. At the same time, her husband sees opportunities to make deals with the American businessmen who come to the Cup in large numbers.
