The Price of Love plot

16-year-old Brett decides to run away from home after yet another argument with his stepmother and uncaring father. He gets a lift from two boys and a girl towards Hollywood. When they break down on the way, Brett decides to continue on foot with fellow passenger Roxanne. The two click well, but Roxanne is arrested by the police and Brett is again on his own. On his wanderings he meets some boys who are willing to offer him shelter. However, they earn their money in the prostitution environment.
