Charlie, a frustrated writer, is sent to his ailing grandfather’s dilapidated mansion and told to pack up all of his belongings. During their final meeting, his grandfather, now in a nursing home, asks Charlie to retrieve the mysterious Phoenix. Through the beauty of the home’s natural surroundings, and a chance encounter with a local artist, Charlie begins to understand what his grandfather meant.
