The Pearl plot

"John Steinbeck The Pearl"

Based on the world famous book The Pearl by Nobel laureate John Steinbeck. A young pearl fisherman named Kino finds a huge pearl. This is his chance to get out of his miserable situation. Everyone knows that the pearl is worth a lot, but the buyers want to pay as little as possible for the pearl. In response, Kino leaves for the city with his wife and child, to sell the pearl for a higher price. However, the pearl buyers from his own region chase him because they think they are entitled to a share of the proceeds.
