The Mystery of Edwin Drood plot

1870, Great Britain. John Jasper is a troubled man who spends his life in solitude in the claustrophobic town of Cloisterham, only concerned with his ultimate ambition: making music. He is addicted to opium in order to broaden his horizons. However, the opium also brings out Jasper's dark side, in which he develops murderous tendencies towards his cousin Edwin Drood, who he believes stands between himself and the beautiful Rosa Bud.
