The Murder of Mary Phagan plot

Atlanta, 1913. A 13-year-old girl is found murdered in the factory where she works. The factory's Jewish director, Leo Frank, is found guilty and hanged. Governor John Slaton begins to suspect that Frank is a victim of public opinion against his faith and ties to the North. However, Slaton also understands that raising public opinion could cost him his political career.
