The More the Merrier plot

Alice, an emergency physician at a small rural hospital, always volunteers for the Christmas Eve night shift and does her utmost to make the holidays merry and festive for patients and staff. When the hospital is mired in snow, Alice and Brian, the newly appointed cardiologist, find themselves in the midst of a veritable baby boom as three women—including the only obstetrician for miles—give birth.
