The Man Who Talked Too Much plot

Stephen Forbes is a prosecutor who is sentenced to death. Evidence later comes to light that the man was innocent. To compensate for his mistake, he opens a cheap law firm and his secretary Joan Reed becomes his assistant. Things go bad until he meets JB Roscoe, a liaison with the underworld. His younger brother John also joins him but soon discovers that Stephen's business is no longer fair.
