The Man from Down Under plot
"THRILLS! FUN! ACTION!"
When World War I ends, Sergeant and former boxer Jocko Wilson leaves England to return to Australia. He takes the two Belgian war orphans 'Nipper' and Mary with him, whom he wants to raise as if they were his own children. Jocko sends Mary to a boarding school when she is a little older. Nipper becomes the Australian lightweight boxing champion. Nipper invests his considerable fortune in prize money in real estate, including a hotel. Years pass, until suddenly the singer Aggie Dawlins appears, with whom Jocko had a relationship in England. Despite being very rich by now, Aggie is still mad at Jocko for leaving her. She wins his son's hotel by gambling. When World War II breaks out, many situations are familiar to Jocko and Aggie and they fall in love again. Meanwhile, Mary and Nipper discover that they are not brother and sister and this may mean that they no longer have to hide their feelings for each other.
