The Little Terror plot

Millionaire John Saunders threatens to disinherit his son Wallace, who wants to marry circus rider Tina. The couple flees and Wallace becomes an acrobat in the circus. They are happy together, but Tina dies in childbirth. Years later, John witnesses the death of his son, who is killed in a trapeze number. Then John decides to take care of Alice, the daughter of Wallace and Tina.
