The Life and Loves of a She-Devil plot

Ruth, a fat unattractive housewife who is everything a man doesn't want. She has two nagging children, a suburban town house, a dog, a cat and a guinea pig. Her husband Bobbo is an accountant. He is middle aged and having a midlife crisis. Ruth loves her husband very much, but the love is not mutual. Bobbo doesn't even give her a glance and does exactly what he feels like. Then Bobbo falls in love with Mary Fisher, a beautiful, slender, wealthy writer of baggy romances, who sees life through rose-colored glasses. When Bobbo leaves Ruth for his newfound love, Ruth is blown away. She decides to take revenge and how.
