Rose is a homeless single mother. During the Christmas season, she and her young daughter Katy are lovingly taken in at a restaurant in a small town. There they befriend a feisty waitress, a cook with a big heart and the Santa Claus from a local department store. When Rose meets a wealthy art collector, their lives seem to take a different turn.
