The Last Photograph plot

A former drug agent returns to South America in search of his missing nephew and niece. Their parents, both diplomats, were recently brutally murdered. The agent enlists the help of a discarded drug addict, a war addict. He is the only witness to the murderers' faces. On their journey, the line between reality and the unreal blurs.
