The Last Best Year plot

Since Jane Murray has been feeling quite tired lately, she decides to see a doctor. His diagnosis comes as a big shock: she has liver cancer and according to the statistics she has between six and eight months to live. Jane turns to psychologist Wendy Haller for support and she gives her the strength to spend the last months of her life intensely and without bitterness.
