The Jane Mysteries: Inheritance Lost plot
When her uncle Harold dies, singer Jane is brought back from Paris to Baltimore to take over his company. The Foundation helps victims who have been abandoned by the police to solve their cases. She takes Lia's case; just after her mother receives the money from an inheritance, she is found dead. The police labeled the case a suicide, but Lia thinks something else was going on. Jane investigates with Detective John, but as soon as she starts digging into the past, she also discovers that this is not without risk.
