The Intrigue plot

"The story of international scheming to obtain the rights to an X-ray gun-- the invention of an enterprising young American"

American scientist Guy Longstreet invented an electric X-ray gun. When the United States refuses to buy his weapon, he turns to the warring countries of Europe. Baron Rogniat shows interest in the invention, but the president of a neighboring country sends Countess Sonia Varnli to stop the sale.
