"Every Family Has a Story to Hide"

Rose is a beautiful nightclub singer from Shanghai who comes to Australia in the 1970s with her two children. It is not easy for her to survive there and also falls in love with a Chinese illegal immigrant. However, the man is attracted to Rose's 16-year-old daughter.
