The Hell with Heroes plot

"They all had something to sell...courage...sex...corruption!"

1944. With a small battalion they are stationed in the north of France. They believe they will be able to go home soon, but there are German troops nearby and the Siegfried line will have to be defended. A new soldier is added to their battalion, which was previously an officer and is bitter about his demotion. The German troops are clearly a bigger force and there is no point in playing the hero just before they are allowed to go home.
