The Happiness of Three Women plot
Amos Parry is a postman in a small Welsh village. He always tries to solve other people's problems. Thus, the paralyzed son of the landlady begins to doubt whether his impending marriage is such a good idea. In the inn lives a woman who lost her husband in the war and who seems unable to be comforted. Finally, there is also a couple that is in danger of being separated by the war in Korea.
