The Green Helmet plot
"All the Thrills of Le Mans, Silverstone, Sebring, Mille Miglia Races!"
An elderly racing driver finds it increasingly difficult to keep up with his competitors. He joins the team sponsored by an American tire brand. He falls in love with the sponsor's daughter, who begs him to stop racing. The driver wants to prove himself one more time by taking part in a 1000-mile race in Italy.
