The Great Jasper plot
In the 1890s, epicurean and irresponsible Jasper Horn stands out as the only man in his small town willing to work with his boss Daniel McGowd with the new electric trolley. Impressed by Jasper's courage in the face of threats of violence from criminal gangs, McGowd invites Jasper and his Puritan wife Jenny to spend a weekend at his estate.
