The Girl in the White Coat plot

As a harsh winter sets in, poor middle-aged factory worker Elise notices that her old coat is in bad shape. She manages to save enough money to take the coat to the local tailor. The tailor is happy to help her, because he wants to rekindle his lost passion for his trade. When Elise wants to pick up the coat again, the tailor's wife does not want to give up the coat, because the man wanted to do the work for too little money.
