The Four Children of Tander Welch plot

William Dane works in a hospice where he one day has to deal with the terminally ill writer Tander Welch. The man would like to come to terms with his three estranged daughters before he wants to end his life. Dane, who is also in trouble himself, gets to know his patient through the eyes of his children and becomes convinced that if one of his daughters would forgive her father and reconnect with him, he could stop Welch from committing suicide.
