"Can a Lord of England be a Czar of the underworld?"

Robert "Silky" Kilmount has always transported liquor. Because it was forbidden, he smuggled it from Canada. Now that it has become legal, he produces his own brand. Seven years earlier, he framed Quentin "Doc" Ramsey, sending him to prison. Doc is a very honest man and Silky wants him as general manager for his company. When Doc is released, who still has a bone to pick, he takes the job for revenge. When an English lawyer shows up to prove Silky is the new Earl of Gorley, Doc sees his chance to get rid of Silky. However, Silky takes Doc to England to sell his property there and collect the money. Doc knows that none of his property can be sold but doesn't tell Silky this. While Silky is shown his duties and responsibilities, Doc is busily trying to bankrupt that Chicago business.
