The Durant Affair plot

When wealthy Ethel Durant dies and she leaves behind a large estate, the search for the rightful heir begins. At first glance she would have died childless, but it soon becomes clear that her life before she had a fortune was shrouded in mystery and controversy, and that she in fact gave birth to a daughter many years ago. It becomes a race against time to uncover a truth hidden for 30 years and fulfill the wishes of a repentant mother.
