The Disciple plot
The life of Jesus from a new angle: a human, without divinity, fallible and a concerned disciple of God and man. According to the Old Testament and especially the book of II Maccabees, 160 years before the birth of Jesus, God sends his host of angels to deliver Israel from the Seleucus, the last occupiers of the Jewish settlements before the Romans. A group of their descendants, whose leader was John the Baptist, and who lived on the banks of the Jordan River, believed that God would send them the same help he had sent their predecessors and prepare them spiritually and physically for the Kingdom of God. Heavens. This kingdom would begin with the expulsion of the Romans.
