The Disappearance of Finbar plot

Finbar and Danny have been best friends for years, living in a bleak quarter of an Irish city. When Finbar's international football career doesn't take off, he jumps off a bridge and disappears into thin air. A search is started, which even results in a song by a local rock band that is shown far beyond the national borders. Years later, Danny gets a call from Finbar from Sweden, and Danny decides to use the call to track down Finbar's whereabouts and go after him, so he goes missing himself. He goes to the far north, and there he finds not only Finbar, but also other very nice people. Only the relationship between the two friends isn't what it used to be...
