The Conviction of Kitty Dodds plot

Kitty Dodds was once convicted of complicity in murder when her neighbor shot and killed her brutal husband. However, the judge had not taken into account the mitigating circumstances in the verdict: violence within the marriage and abuse of the children. She was given a life sentence, but she escapes when she is taken from prison to the hospital. She manages to take on a new identity, meets Chuck Hayes and marries him. But one day she is arrested again...
