The Children of Times Square plot

Convinced that his parents don't want anything from him anymore, a fourteen-year-old boy runs away from home and takes a bus to New York. He is fascinated by the neon lights in Times Square, but will soon find that life in a big city is no laughing matter. It doesn't take long before he is in a youth gang that trades drugs for a rich gangster boss.
