The Child Stealer plot

After a nasty divorce, Jan Rodman (Blair Brown) gets custody of her daughters Andrea (Lauri Hendler) and Pam (Tracey Gold). Her egocentric ex-husband David (Beau Bridges), on the other hand, is banned from being near his wife or children. David decides to kidnap his two daughters. Because the authorities say that there is nothing they can do about this and therefore cannot intervene, she decides to go after her ex-husband herself to get her children back.
