The Buffalo plot
Shokufeh and Iman want to flee Iran from the port city of Anzali and wait at a lagoon for a man who will smuggle them across the border. They accidentally drop a bag of money and jewelry into the lagoon and Iman jumps after it. However, he drowns trying to get the bag back. Diver Bahram de Buffalo is tasked with recovering Iman's body.
