"Fire Scenes That Scorch the Screen in a 5-Alarm Thriller!"
Bob is about to get married to Nan, but the war that has now broken out blows all his hopes for a good future. When the AFS (London Fire Brigade) is recruiting people nearby, Bob decides to join them. Two local firefighters, Officer MacFarlane and Ted Robins, loathe the AFS. They think the AFS firefighters are a bunch of bums who don't take their job seriously. They decide to teach the members of the other corps a little discipline.
