The '70s plot

"Where were you when dicso was king"

The era of the 1970s is portrayed through four young people who know each other in the early 1970s at a high school in Ohio, where there are riots because of the Vietnam War. The four then each go their own way: Christie (Amy Smart) wants to become a model, turns to drugs and ends up in a cult. Her brother Byron (Brad Rowe) becomes a fanatic Republican and becomes involved in the Watergate scandal. His first girlfriend Eileen (Vinessa Shaw) goes to college and ends up in a fanatic activist group for women's rights. Finally, the black Dexter (Guy Torry) is first with the national guard, later with the Black Panthers, after which he develops a method to get rid of drugs.
