Terra Nova plot

Ruth flees her dominant family for fear that her daughter will be taken from her. She finds shelter in Terra Nova, an old and dilapidated boarding house on the coast, where she is taken care of by Margie, the boarding house keeper. Then she meets the other guests: the young artist Simon, a schizophrenic neo-Nazi and a troubled astrologer, in short, an eccentric collection of mentally disturbed people. Ruth enters a world that is completely new to her, through which she also learns new aspects of herself, as if the inhabitants held up a mirror to her in their madness and wisdom.
