Tale of the Land plot
After losing her parents and their land, May lives with her grandfather in a self-sufficient house floating on water. She dreams of a life on land, but a mysterious condition causes her to faint whenever she steps onto solid ground. Her grandfather, convinced that she is cursed by their ancestors, forbids her to leave the house. Although the mainland has become a dangerous place for her, May remains drawn to it. When her grandfather is injured and she is tormented by the uncertainty of life at sea, the desire to go ashore is stronger than ever.
