"You can't hide forever"

Thomas, a teenager and his mother Anne are always on the run from Thomas's father. When they settle in another town, Thomas meets new friends, including Jonas and the attractive Helene. Their acquaintance with a seller of second-hand items also gives a positive turn to their lives. Just as the future begins to look bright, Thomas' father appears. But their stay in the small town has left its mark.
