Swamp Girl plot

"Filmed on location in the strangely beautiful Okefenokee swamps of Georgia."

A blond girl abandoned by her parents in the Florida swamps is rescued and raised by a black man; she calls him papa. She takes it upon herself to protect all the creatures in her swamp from poachers and other dangers, gaining the respect of the local sheriff. One day, the girl is captured by an escaped inmate and her boyfriend, who force her to escort them through the swamps in their attempt to evade the police. But the girl has other ideas.
