"This is the story of Yentowns in Yentown."

In the near future, the Japanese metropolis of Yentown will be the place to make money. People, called Yentowns, come from all parts of the world to get rich, but they usually don't succeed. The people who don't make it end up in one of the many slums of Yentown. This also happens to a group of Yentowns who reside at a scrap yard just outside the city. When this group accidentally finds a way to counterfeit money, a time of happiness and success begins. This does not last long, however, as the group is confronted by gangsters, police and their own past.
