Stronger Than Desire plot
"The story of lonely wives"
Wealthy Elizabeth Flagg is courted by the tenacious Michael McLain, despite her protests to Michael that she is already married. McLain is charming enough to coax Elizabeth into some fairly innocent encounters, but that changes when he tries to extort her money. An argument ensues and Elizabeth shoots him with his pistol. Eva, McLain's wife, is considered a suspect and is arrested. There are strong indications of her guilt and she is in danger of being convicted.
