Street Smart plot

Ali is desperately looking for a way out of her unstable home situation. So she takes the plunge and boards a bus traveling across the country to Venice Beach, with little more than the clothes she is wearing and her trusty guitar. Without money and without connections, her prospects look bleak, until a lively group of homeless young adults takes her under their wing.
